APIA Leichhardt is extremely excited to announce Carrera by Design as one of the club’s newest, and dynamic sponsors. The partnership sees Carrera by Design become a back-of-shirt sponsor for the 2025 NPL Women’s NSW senior sides and our girls youth teams, as the new campaign fast approaches!

Based in Smithfield, Carrera is a market leader and one of the most innovative kitchen and joinery companies in the industry, specialising in both modern and timeless classic designs, with a business motto of ‘A Legacy of Trust & Excellence’. Carrera is a company that is passionate about bringing dreams to life and with Carrera, you can expect a level of commitment and personalisation that is hard to find in the industry.

Ronnie Abdishou is the visionary founder of the Carrera Group, guiding the company since its inception in 2003. As an accomplished and award-winning designer, Ronnie brings a wealth of experience and a stellar track record in delivering successful projects while cultivating enduring relationships with clients, consultants, and key subcontractors.

“From the first time I met Ronnie he seemed genuine, he was incredibly interested in the Women’s program, he came to watch games and was genuine in wanting to help support the program.” APIA General Manager Matteo Maiorana said.

“Everything about Carrera and what the company stands for mirrors what our program is all about. Never one to settle, always pushing themselves to be better, family centric with a goal to be the best, so when Ronnie suggested being part of the club from a sponsorship standpoint it was a perfect fit.”

Abdishou himself added that “Carrera by Design is proud to support APIA Women’s Football, a program that represents dedication, community, and striving for excellence, values we deeply share.”

“We love the direction Matteo is taking the club, fostering a strong sense of family and unity both on and off the field. We’re excited to contribute to the growth of women’s football and to be part of a club that’s making a lasting impact for players, families, and the community.”
