APIA Leichhardt FC are looking towards a massive 2023 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s season with a few new faces as well as a whole new coaching staff.

The iconic former NSL club from the Inner West appointed club legend Franco Parisi as head coach alongside former teammate and fellow APIA legend David D’Apuzzo as the assistant coach.

The two have been busy recruiting some quality players during the off-season with former Blacktown City ace Dakota Askew, ex-Sutherland Sharks keeper Anthony Bouzanis, former Bulls FC Academy player Anthony Sparacino, returning APIA youngster Aedon Kyra and former Mt Druitt Town Rangers attacking gun Jack Stewart have all penned deals.

Parisi and D’Apuzzo have managed to resign the likes of familiar APIA players Ivan Necevski, Paul Galimi, the Symons brothers Josh and Sean, Nick Azzone, Jack Armson, Diego Celis, Jason Romero, Themba Muata-Marlow, Adrian Ucchino, Fabian Monge, Michael Kota, Yianni Nicolaou and Corey Biczo.

Youngsters Franco Farinella and Harry Stavris have also been given senior contracts.

The club has been training since November and will break for two-weeks over the Christmas and New Years period before returning to training in early January where they’ve got a handful of friendlies organised as well as taking part in the ‘Riverina Festival of Football’ on the 14th of January.
